MEXICO'S COPPER CANYON - BIKE THE ‘SILVER TRAIL’

The dramatic terrain known as Copper Canyon is a perfect mountain bike adventure. Comprising more than 20 steep- sided canyons up to 5000 feet deep, it covers over 20,000 square miles.

High up, at altitudes approaching 8000 feet, we encounter cooler temperatures, extensive pine forests, unusual rock formations, lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Dropping down into the bed of the canyons, the vegetation is tropical and the temperatures much higher.

We’ll make a series of day rides, often between villages, taking the most interesting and routes. following a mix of jeep roads and single track trails.

We will stay in a local hotel or guesthouse, enjoying the hospitality and cuisine of the local people. Baggage will be transferred for us so we will only carry our lunch and a light day bag with us.

Quality mountain bikes, all hotel accommodation, meals and guides are included. The route is fairly strenuous so this is a trip for fit experienced cyclists.
