BLOODVEIN RIVER
The
Bloodvein, a wild and rugged river, sparkles
and roams from it’s headwaters in northwestern
Ontario to it’s mouth on Lake Winnipeg in central
Manitoba. Away from historical trade and settlement
routes, the river remained unspoiled – it’s plant
and animal communities virtually intact since
the last glaciers scoured the area. Travel over
200 km of rushing rapids, easy swifts, meandering
lakes and portage trail. Discover the Canadian
Shield largely untouched and enjoy warm water,
excellent paddling, and scenic campsites on this
wilderness holiday.
